Not only do they burst with flavor, but they also pack a punch of health benefits, especially for your skin. So get ready to jump-start your day with these 3 smoothie recipes that will have your skin glowing!
1. Tropical Avo-Nana Smoothie
This recipe is “hydration in a glass”! Packed with dense superfoods and highly hydrating ingredients. Your body and skin will love this!
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup plain coconut water (or more as needed)
- 2 frozen bananas
- 1 cup chopped pineapple
- 1 cup chopped mango
- 2 cups spinach or kale
- 1/2 avocado
- 1 tablespoon flaxseed oil (optional)
Blend all of the ingredients until smooth and enjoy :)
2. Detoxifying Beet & Berry Smoothie
Beets and berries are a powerful combo. They are high in antioxidants and promote skin detoxification.
Have this regularly and see your skin get fresher by the day!
Ingredients:
- 1/3 cup chopped raw beet
- 1 1/3 cup frozen strawberries
- 1/4 ripe frozen banana
- 2/3 cup fresh apple juice or water
- Fresh mint (optional)
Blend, blend, blend!
3. Cinnamon Apple Crumble Smoothie
This recipe is deceptively sweet! Perfect for when I need a sweet fix. The ingredients are high in protein, fiber, and antioxidants – which are great to slow down skin aging!
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoon oats
- 1 chopped red apple
- 1 banana
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/2 cup milk of choice
Blend the oats, apples, and banana until smooth. Continue with milk and spices to finish :)
